Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. What we collect
When you create a FinalClimb account we collect your name and email address. If you build a race plan, we store the athlete profile information you provide — including FTP (functional threshold power), body weight, and nutrition targets — along with the race plans and gear setups you create. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number or full payment details. We also collect basic, anonymized analytics (pages visited, feature usage) to improve the product.
2. How we use it
Your data is used to generate personalized pacing, power, and nutrition plans; to sync plan data to your devices (e.g., Garmin Connect IQ); to enable coach-athlete sharing when you explicitly authorize a coaching relationship; and to send you transactional and service emails (account confirmations, plan updates, and occasionally product announcements you can opt out of at any time).
3. Who processes it
We work with a small number of trusted sub-processors, each bound by data-processing agreements:
- Supabase — database storage and authentication
- Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
- Stripe — payment processing (they operate under their own privacy policy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
4. Sharing & visibility
Your profile and gear setup are private by default. You can choose to make them public so other athletes can see your equipment choices — this is entirely opt-in. If you are a coached athlete, the coach who sent your invitation can view the athlete profile and race plans associated with your account. They cannot access billing information or change your login credentials.
5. Retention & deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. If you want a full deletion of all data associated with your account — including any residual backups — email us at support@thefinalclimb.com and we will process the request within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@thefinalclimb.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes we will send a notice to the email address on your account before the changes take effect.
